Sustainability.

At Milk, building sustainable solutions together is at the heart of what we do.

We constantly monitor our effect on the world through communication, experience and change. We believe that design should not come at the cost of our planet's well-being.

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.

Our commitment.

We have recycled over 15 million plastic bottles in our production in the last 18 months.

We continually work with our supply chain to source sustainable raw materials.

Outer cases are manufactured from recycled material, which are both compostable and recyclable.

All the paper used for printed material is sustainably sourced.

We are able to offer carbon neutral manufacturing across our product ranges.

Our production factories and facilities are located in close proximity to major shipping ports to minimise road transport.

We offer carbon balanced print solutions in partnership with World Land Trust.

All outer packaging is of optimum sizing to make transit as efficient as possible – we constantly develop our supply chain to reduce waste.

The pallets we use in our Far East operations are made from plastic meaning they are long lasting and reusable.

We are constantly enhancing our extensive range of sustainable and recycled products.

We primarily ship goods via sea freight, having less impact on the environment than other forms of transport.

All Milk internal operations are 100% carbon neutral.

Carbon balanced operations.

The internal operations of Milk are carbon balanced.
Annually we calculate the value of carbon produced by our internal operations and then offset these in global projects.

Since 2019 we have offset over 57 tonnes of carbon and contributed to global projects such as wind based power generation in Panama, solar power projects in India and further wind based power projects in Uruguay.

Carbon balanced production.

We are proud to partner with key suppliers who are able
to accurately measure their carbon emissions and offset this impact through World Land Trust’s global
Carbon Balanced projects.

World Land Trust is an amazing organisation, and with their overseas project partners, they have been instrumental in the purchase and protection of more than 2,222,247 acres of tropical forest and other threatened habitats, and together ensure that more than four million acres of land is managed under active protection worldwide.

Product development.

Working hard with our supply partners means we can already offer a wide range of sustainable and environmentally friendly products to our customers.

Both the sourcing of the material and the waste generated from this are two key factors for consideration. We are constantly developing new and existing product ranges with sustainability and environmental impact driving our production decisions.
